Havn Introduces Compact HS 360 PC Case: Smaller, Lighter, and Enhanced
Havn has unveiled its latest innovation, the HS 360 PC case, at Computex 2026. This new model represents a significant evolution from its predecessor, the HS 420, by offering a more compact and lightweight design without compromising on aesthetics or performance. The HS 360 is notably smaller, shrinking by 19.4%, and considerably lighter, with a 29.5% reduction in weight, addressing feedback regarding the HS 420's substantial size. The design retains the striking panoramic glass, which now features a refined, thinner construction and a more pronounced curve, seamlessly integrating with the downsized chassis.
A key advancement in the HS 360 is the integration of a magnetic glass divider, strategically positioned above the vertically mounted graphics card. This innovative feature, as explained by Havn's Steven Levitt, aims to optimize airflow within the case. By channeling the cool air, which typically rises through the case's chimney-style layout, the divider prevents its premature escape from the top-front section, leading to a measurable temperature reduction of three degrees for internal components. This seemingly counter-intuitive design choice highlights Havn's commitment to enhancing thermal efficiency.
Beyond cooling, the HS 360 introduces several user-centric improvements for fan installation and overall build experience. Unlike the HS 420, where fan installation could be challenging after components were in place, the HS 360 features redesigned brackets that allow fans to be mounted from the rear. Additionally, the lower trio of fans can now be conveniently removed from either side, simplifying maintenance and upgrades. These thoughtful modifications underscore a focus on user accessibility and convenience.
Another ingenious enhancement targets builders utilizing back-connect motherboards, which relocate all connectors to the rear for a cleaner internal aesthetic. The HS 360 incorporates a reversible motherboard tray adjacent to the main one. This allows the tray to be flipped, accommodating back-connect motherboards perfectly and eliminating unsightly cutouts that would otherwise be present for traditional cable routing, thus contributing to a more streamlined and visually appealing build.
While these improvements are currently exclusive to the HS 360, Havn's Steven Levitt hinted at their potential integration into future iterations or a "V2" of the larger HS 420. This suggests a continuous commitment to refining their product line based on user experience and technological advancements. The tentative pricing for the HS 360, set at approximately $230 for the VGPU version and $160 for the non-VGPU variant, positions it slightly above the HS 420 and BF 360 models, reflecting the premium features and refined engineering packed into this more compact chassis.
