Delving into the "Candela's Quest for Victory" Event: Bonuses and Challenges

From June 9th to June 15th, Pokémon Go players are invited to participate in the "Candela's Quest for Victory" event, a dynamic experience centered around enhancing Pokémon and engaging in raid battles. This event introduces a comprehensive Go Pass system, featuring 60 ranks filled with valuable rewards such as Technical Machines, Premium Battle Passes, and a special encounter with a Ponyta adorned with a Candela-themed scarf. Progress through the Go Pass is achieved by winning raids, hatching eggs, and capturing Pokémon, with an additional 100 points available daily for powering up Pokémon ten times. Reaching specific ranks unlocks event-long bonuses, including an increased attack bonus from friends in raids at Rank 10, and a 1.5x Stardust bonus from raids at Rank 20. Deluxe pass holders, available for $4.99, receive additional rewards and the benefit of up to two free raid passes daily by spinning gym photo discs.

The event also offers diverse Field Research tasks, discoverable by spinning PokéStops. These tasks challenge players to battle in raids with their buddy for encounters with Scyther, Scraggy, or Rockruff; catch ten Pokémon for Charmander, Machop, or Fletchling encounters; power up Pokémon five times to meet Mankey or Scraggy; win a raid for Flareon or Rockruff; win two raids for Honedge; and use a charged attack for Hisuian Growlithe or Slugma encounters.

Furthermore, the wild encounters are enriched with boosted spawn rates for Charmander, Mankey, Hisuian Growlithe, Machop, Ponyta, Scyther, Flareon, Slugma, and Fletchling, with an increased chance for finding shiny versions of these creatures. The raid schedule has also been updated to feature Hisuian Growlithe, Scraggy, Honedge, and Rockruff in one-star raids, and Machamp, Scizor, and Magcargo in three-star raids, presenting increased shiny chances for these raid targets.

This event offers an excellent opportunity for both seasoned trainers and newcomers to strengthen their Pokémon teams and collect rare variants. The blend of challenging tasks, exclusive rewards, and diverse Pokémon encounters makes "Candela's Quest for Victory" a memorable chapter in the Pokémon Go journey, encouraging strategic gameplay and community engagement.
