Commencing on Monday, June 22, the acclaimed series “The Shop” will relaunch with actor-rapper Travis Bennett and producer Steelo Brim at the helm, succeeding basketball icon LeBron James and entrepreneur Maverick Carter. This announcement, made by Fulwell Entertainment on a recent Monday, signifies a pivotal moment for the show. Insiders reveal that James and Carter personally selected Bennett and Brim, affirming their confidence in the new hosts to steer the program forward. Maverick Carter, a co-CEO of Fulwell Entertainment, will continue to be involved with the show's production and interact with the new hosting team.

The reimagined series will uphold its signature barbershop setting and retain its characteristic conversational style. However, the move to a weekly schedule will facilitate more profound and personal interactions. Each episode will now feature Bennett and Brim engaging with two guests, delving into the personal stories that shape cultural discourse and major headlines. The producers at Fulwell have indicated that this refreshed season will introduce innovative segments and refined formats, ensuring “The Shop” remains a leading platform where prominent figures from the realms of sports, music, and entertainment can openly share their authentic perspectives.

The premiere episode of this exciting new season is slated to host television personality Jasper Dolphin, known for his work on “Odd Future” and “Jackass,” alongside actor Melvin Gregg, recognized for his roles in “Fight Night: Million Dollar Heist” and “Snowfall.”

“The Shop,” originally conceived by Paul Rivera and Randy Mims, first aired on HBO in 2018 before transitioning to YouTube. Steelo Brim expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “As a fan of ‘The Shop,’ joining the legacy established by LeBron, Maverick, Paul, and Randy is truly remarkable. The production of “The Shop” (also known as “The Shop: Uninterrupted”) is managed by Fulwell’s Uninterrupted division. The executive production team includes James, Carter, Bennett, Brim, and Ben Turner, with Courtney Whitaker serving as co-executive producer and Karus Nelson as the showrunner.
