CD Projekt Red is currently balancing numerous ambitious projects, including new installments in their acclaimed "The Witcher" and "Cyberpunk" series, alongside a mysterious new intellectual property known as Project Hadar. Although details about Hadar have been scarce, recent information offers a glimpse into its core vision.

A new job advertisement for an engineering director at CD Projekt Red sheds light on the foundational elements of Project Hadar. The listing specifies that the successful candidate will contribute to "creating an emotional, open world experience that will stay with gamers." This suggests that Hadar will align with the studio's reputation for crafting rich, narrative-driven worlds, rather than venturing into a radically different game genre. Previous recruitment efforts also hinted at the inclusion of melee combat, providing a slightly more defined picture of the gameplay.

Given that the Hadar development team remains relatively small, comprising around 26 individuals, a full unveiling of the game is likely still some time away. In related news from the developer, a third expansion for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt," titled "Songs of the Past," has been confirmed. Developed by Fool's Theory, the team also working on "The Witcher 1" remake, this expansion is expected to be as substantial as the critically acclaimed "Blood and Wine."

CD Projekt Red continues to demonstrate its dedication to expansive storytelling and immersive gameplay. The commitment to delivering deeply emotional and engaging experiences across its diverse project portfolio underscores the studio's passion for pushing creative boundaries and forging lasting connections with players.
